PH balancing
I've been using Calcium Carbonate when I have an issue with this, but I ran short of it and someone suggested using some spa ph balancer instead. A good or bad idea?

sufficient reading through what we call "mandatory reading would have found your answer"
don't take this the wrong way as you are learning, but please read the novice lounge, and parent site
then before you post a question, please do a search as pretty much everything basic, has been covered 1,000 times before
Keep up the good work though

Thank you for your response and believe me, I have spent countless hours here reading. My mistake was, first not seeing what the active ingredient was in spa ph balancer. Sorry, my bad. Another senior moment.
