So, the small brewer wasnt cutting it. I was given a 15.5 gl keg with 12 year old beer in it. now this is my first ever experience with a keg so I had no idea after 12 years it would have pressure..and beer.. so I innocently push down on the ball valve, and took a amber hopps shower at about 150 PSI and beer shot about 20' in the air and when I thought it was all done, WRONG, i pulled the snap ring and the assembly inside near took my head off
then I get it all empties out after the wife is done LHFAO and I pull the snap ring, and assembly, then I dump what little is left and not soaked into my clothes, and start filling it with HOT soapy water to start the cleaning process. Man I stink like a drunk right now! Shes still LHFAO

so, now to decide what kind of standpipe to make? does it need (or matter) if its water cooled or is coiled into a bucket of ice just fine? does it make a difference? My WHOLE goal is to make good bourbon not shine. so I'm hoping for the best build from here on to make it right!
