Hello, Real nice place ya got here
Been reading HD for about a month now. Been everywhere I can find, Parent Site, New To Distillation area and everywhere else. What a massive amount of interesting information. I started to build that old reflux still from the PDF that's all over the Internet about 15 years ago after reading some stuff by Gert Strand. Luckily all I did was to attach a 2" union to a 6 gallon stainless steel keg. I also bought the copper, but never put anything together. About 6 years ago I acquired a 6 gallon stainless steel Delaval milk can. Now I am getting ready to build me a Nixon Stone reflux with the keg and a pot still with a 24" liebig with the can. Very exciting!

I have a question about a reflux still. There are two valves that go at the bottom of the head. I have read all over this site that brass in contact with the distillate is bad. Are there copper valves for this?

You probably need stainless steel valves. Something tells me that you won't find a copper valve of the type you need - too soft to work well as a valve.
