OLD pot still

I got the question about using old pot still(about 40 or more years old). The pot was originally used for making "šnopc" by my uncle and grandpa but they stop making it because of lack of apples. I don't know what is called in US maybe "Schnapps"...(It's made from apples )

So basically I need some opinions about this still is it still usable? The lid is little off. I will try to make some moonshine with this pot If it is possible.

At 40 years it's probably put together with leaded solder, which isn't too good. Cool piece as a decoration and interesting history.

hate to say it but from the piccys i could be bothered to load, i would make a new one - keep it for when u look back to remind you of why u got into the hobby
