 Wow. That's some kind of dedication. Living in the snowy north was half the reason I converted my keg to electric. I get to do my work down in the warm, finished basement with the projection TV entertaining me in the background.

Good luck, Led. Be safe.

It's 3f here, we might be near each other.
Ran yesterday while the storm rolled in.
Wasted 3 hours trying to fix my propane burner.
Finally realized the propane was freezing up.
A warm water bath kept the gas and the booze flowing.
I'm going to post about it later in the novice section.
Epic run.
Good Luck!

"You know, you can just buy that stuff right up the road" he said.
I just smiled, and said quietly, "No you can't".

Good luck Led, I've got my first run of real sour mash to run in the morning it's going to be ass whippin cold but you gotta do what you gotta do. I liked the sweet Ujssm, I'm gonna love the sour, I oaked some 120pf today and its pulling color quickly , gotta give it a while but it's gonna be worth the wait. Once again good luck man get out them coveralls and stay warm. Melloman

Went well. Have a small propane bullet heater I fired up. Tarped off a section of my workshop. Was pretty warm. Stripped 10 gal then recharged and did a spirit run of just under 2 gal. Collected in 200ml increments since there was so little going in.
Have 20 gal left to strip. Going to strip it all before another spirit run.

I had carhart bibs on with shorts underneath and a hoodie on. That was it. If you are used to living up here its not too bad. Even though the cold SUCKS ASS. Hell, I can count on a 7 finger hand probably how many times I have worn pants since Halloween lol. <<<<< that means I wear shorts for you smart asses who were going to run away with that one....
