Is 1/4" tube too small of the inlet that goes to the bottom of the 1" dia vertical tube? Also same for the outlet? I have some scrap left over and didn't want to buy anymore copper..

I.D. or O.D.? 1/4" I.D is what I have. Maybe 3/8" ID would be better.

3/8 is working well for me . Anything smaller could create a vapor lock and cause a serious distillate spill .
