Well look here, Mike at HBS ask me to give him the name of my copper smith I use to produce my stills....then he removes my copper/oak stills from his web site. Now he's copying my patented wood wrapped stills.

Im calling BULLSHIT!!! I dont think this raid ever happened. I think someone is trying to ruin Hillbilly Stills business. From the above post by bobtail there was friction between these parties already. In my opinion somebody is pissed off over some percieved patent infringement and are taking the shotgun approach to get revenge at all of our expense. Call me a skeptic......well, because I am. I guess Im going to need some proof. If it turns out to be true, Ill apologise till the cows come home.

Confederate stills is a news feed on my page and He post that he was making the copper & cedar boilers for hillbilly stills till Mike Hainey decide to copy them . I was plenty happy with the flute, but after the purchase I heard he did the same to Old dog. I was just relaying the news.

I have done business with HBS and stopped because bobtail opened my eyes to some practices of theirs I will not support. I verified his post about HBS and have not done business with them since.

If y'all were standing here I would still call bullshit. I don't call it online if I wouldn't call it in person. There were some skeptics before me but I was the one that called it. I checked Bobtails back posts from when he joined in 2011. From everything I read I believe him. The only thing I can say is if you haven't bought a still from a manufacture no big deal if you don't sell tell or piss anybody off. If you have bought one from a manufacture take the info for what it is worth. I you believe you might want to come up with a plan B. If you don't believe carry on as usual. Once again I believe him. As far as the shop is concerned , again your right, Im doing something. I bought this property 10 years ago and paid it off 16 months ago.
I run a 1 man shop , that does 4 links, ls1 swaps, lots of 1 ton swaps along with general repair
