So I don't post a whole lot but I built my still from knowledge here about a year ago.
This thing is so predictable and easy peasy to run. I usually do generational runs putting everything from one generation into the next and so on and after 3 generations I can tell you that the proof of the first jar will be 145...it always is lol
After I do all my cuts and blend it for oaking I check the proof. Guess what its exactly 100 proof every time...never fails. Either I am doing something exactly right or I'm just damn lucky but man I love my still!
100 proof sweet feed just put on oak
I love my still

I love my still
If someone suggests you do some research. Don't think of it as an insult, consider it a challenge.

A man and his still - birds chirpin', soft music playing, lights turned low ... Sounds like a marriage made in heaven. Just be sure to practice safe distilling.

I feel ya there, I went through a big move and new job, and life just made it hard to focus in my hobby, now that we are settled in I have reminded myself why I love doing it so much.

Brain scans show people literally DO love the objects they own, at least the really important ones like cell phones and cars.
You should love your still, no shame.
