Grape Pomace

Hi all,

I hope i posted in the right section..

I been looking all over the web, with no success.. Been looking to get some grape pomace, if anyone know a place where i can obtain it ?


I would greatly appreciate it..

from a winemaker... You're not going to find it online, or be able to ship it. You need to get it from a buddy who makes wine. And you're only going to find it in the fall
Easiest way to avoid being on a TTB list is to not purchase a boiler, full column, or condensor from a retailer. Build your own.

Most wineries dump it on their fields. I worked at one winery that had an auger when we emptied the press and guys would line up in their trucks and we'd augur it in their truckbed for free. If your not looking for truckloads it might be worthwhile trying to hook up with someone in the amateur winemaking community, they would have smaller quantities and likely not be in such a rush that time of year.

Tried buying in the past, no go. I got to know a winemaker and get it now for free. Have to time it right, when they are pressing. Depending on where you are, it is normally mid-August to Mid to Late October.
