Removing Foreshots

Post by Prime83 »

I am running a Mr Distiller table top still. However I am unsure of how much foreshots to remove. I don't want to poison myself or anyone else. So how many ml should I remove from a one gallon still? I wan to make a good quality product not poison. "Jon"

It calls for me to throw out 3/4 of a shot glass. I use and ounce and half jigger and toss it when it gets full. I figure like you better safe then sorry.:D On a side note I am knew to forums as a whole and have a question that I want to put in the right tab. It is regarding fermentation vessel. Where should I ask it? I don't want to upset anyone and I know things have a proper place. I would hate to be a noob mucking up the forum with out of place questions. :econfused:
