Hi. Would it be a good idea to have a picture gallery on this site??

You mean like a google search with a section on just images? If that's the case it might be a helpful thread however not sure what type of space (usage that would require), the other problem is everyone running this site are volunteers not payed thus the time to put that together might be huge as you would have to research all the builds and then link the build site to the image. However is a neat idea in my humble opinion.

I actually was thinking the same myself. It would be nice to have a gallery even with just some choice pics of various builds. Is there not a site that could maybe be linked to that would have strictly images where members could upload to? Although there is sections within the forum for pics of builds, they are all thread-based.

Yes, that would be a nice feature, most good ideas are found by looking at constructions, seeing details you haven´t yet thought of or searched for. At least that´s the case with me. One gallery I found:
