Just made a thumper

Check out the thumper I made the other night, using a corny keg. Did you know a ball lock with o-ring an a 1/2 inch couple will slide right over it and it is air tight. If you would like more info let me know and I will give better pix sand how to,s.

I could be wrong but I doubt the o-ring is PTFE thought...

I did wrap the big o ring, with Teflon tape and wrapped the post with it also. I did do some checking and I determined that the o ring at a min. Is 250 deg. Steam is at the hotest 212. I am looking for hi temp o rings. I did a run the other night and all went well. Thumper did make some noise, was kind of scary at first, thought it was all going to blow, but after up to temp it quieted down.
