Stir Paddle for mash
Had a spare baseball bat in the garage - used a sawzall - works great and best price.. I don't condone ruining a baseball bat but this one was outgrown..

Just make sure that isn't treated wood. (Double check if it was a baseball bat.) Even your mash is acidic and can cause stuff to leach into product.

I have never heard of a pine baseball bat. Pretty soft wood for a bat.

I was walking through a store one day and saw an outdoor grill spatula. Like a really really big one that was SS including the handle. On clearance for .99 so I made the purchase. Works great.

I use a home made, short handled hoe for stirring the fermenter.
To stir the few true mashes I've made, I have a SS paddle on a drill.
