Barrels - Jack Daniels or jim beam

Hi guys, has anyone in NZ found where to get hold of an original JD or Jim beam barrel? Im happy to have a crack at importing a few if anyone else wants one!

A couple of decades ago there were some independent importers bringing in barrels of good quality bourbon and rum to be bottled in NZ and the public were able to get them. My Dad got one. I don't know if anyone is still doing it. If they are, I am definitely interested.

I doubt importing MT barrels is an appealing option.
