Putting up sweet corn for UJSSM

I have a good bit of sweet corn in my garden that due to the lack of rain,,,,did not make big full ears. What is the best way for me to dry it out for later use...say with UJSSM? Should i leave it in husk and put in a onion sack thats breathable or should i take it out of the husk? Thanks
