Commercial guys go all the way?
Do the big commercial distillers really go to the trouble of making cuts and fractions and if so how? They sure couldn't be doing it like a hobbyist distiller as it would be to time consuming. I know if distilling a neutral spirit, they just run that wash through a big-ass column --one and done, although some of the pricey vodkas claim several distillations. Beats me why anyone pays a premium price for an odorless, tasteless liquor, especially when they're mix it with Red Bull or mixers to mask the taste. Must be snobbishness one upmanship. Damn, I despise hipsters.
