Greetings from Western Washington
Greetings,
I'm new at distilling. Recently bought a reflux still. Made 1 batch of Rye moonshine so far. A friend told me that one of the best shines he's ever had is "prune moon". Looking for a good recipe as I had lots prunes on the tree this year. I froze them without the pits and intend to make some shine this winter when I come across a good recipe. Looking forward to learning lots about shine.............

Welcome to HD. There are some links in my signature that will get you started. Once you're comfortable with the process, you'll find information about fermenting and running fruit musts in the "Mashes, Washes, Fermentation, Aging" section of the forums.
Good luck and stay safe.

Welcome butter churn. Prune moon huuuuuuummmmm. I would try it. If you want to learn lots read and understand the links in my signature. It is an excellent read. The reads are kinda like a tree. You have the trunk and it goes up and branches off. You have to have the trunk to hold up the branches. The links are like the trunk, don't shortcut your education. Be safe and make good drop
