Curious if this type of setup would work well for grain mashes & enzymes. Anyone have a cajun pot and strainer with BIAB like this? Looks like a nice way to mash but am unsure if there's a false bottom on the strainer insert to separate the bag and grains from the element.

I have a similar setup and yes there is a false bottom in the pot. It does very well. I can control the temp down to the degree. I find that I do not need to run the pump much after I get it to temp. I am using an igloo cooler instead of a steel pot.
