Came into possession of a large stainless steel pressure cooker. It will hold approx. 2 gallons, with still having several inches from the fluid to the lid, for
steam expansion. Now on most my still's, I tend to use smaller size copper tubing to go from the still, into the cooling bucket and coiling around till it reaches
the drain shout. But recently, I have been doing more and more looking around at the different set up's people have, and have noticed alot of the thumpers
have copper tubing, alot larger than I tend to use. For a 2 gallon pressure cooker still, what size tubing would you suggest I use from pot to thumper, then
thumper to cooling coils in bucket? Looking for some of you guys with years of this under your belt, for advice. Thanks.

A two gallon will make it difficult to make cuts! We recommend at least 5 gallons and 3/8 ". Please look for a pony keg or half barrel for a good reason to firethat baby up!

Pressure cookers are generally much less than ideal for a boiler. +1 on finding a keg. To address your question tho, don't use anything smaller than 1/2" anywhere in your still.

Two gallons is too small - especially for using with a thumper. With a boiler that small, a thumper may only serve to smear what little product you will produce.
