Corn Stalks? Nice Brix chart

Post by Jimbo »

I noticed in this nice chart that corn stalks are apparently like sugar cane. 20 brix will make a 1.080 wash. Wondering if anyone tried this. Ive got 100 row feet of sweet corn growing, might do some brix readings when I harvest (to eat) and make use of these.

Anyway, this is a nice chart for reference of things to sick the yeasties on. Note brix times 4 gives SG. ie. 20 brix = 1.080

Cheers

In theory there's no difference between theory and practice. But in practice there is.
