Hi all,
I've been distilling for 5 months now after like 10 years of beer brewing. I'm a newcomer but I could already write a "Don't do that, stupid" manual cause for my first few batches, I was trying to make neutral spirits with an AirStill... with turbo yeast... in a 23% abv wash. Yup, it tasted like you think. But I don't regret that, you don't gain much experience when all is fine.
As soon as I was sure I would enjoy distilling, I treated myself with a PDA-1 still and I have a big grin plastered on my face ever since.
