heated fermenters

wondering what you all use for heated fermenting vessels. I have a heated garage that never drops below 50 deg F. but its too costly to heat and i have to work in here so anything above 60 f is just too warm. would like to take advantage of the boring winter months around here as i get busy in the summers. Was thinking about building a cabinet to house two 32 gallon brute cans. Wondering what you have used for heating either the fermenters or a cabinet. what works well? I was considering insulating the cabinet and putting on castor wheels. then buying a space heater with built in thermostat. anybody got any better ideas?
