My Bourbon Bottle Design

Post by ltrmoore »

IMG_0335.JPG
I haven't seen too many bottle design here, but wanted to post a cheap way to make a bottle look nice.

I purchased these bottles online from http://packagingoptionsdirect.com/375-m ... uor-bottle" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
I purchased the labels online from http://www.foryourparty.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
I purchased the rope from hobby lobby

I'm active duty US Navy and the "rope work" you see on the neck is a typical style sailors will use to wrap around handrails on ships. I thought I'd use the same design for my bottles.

If yours are like mine, you'll have a hard time keeping them full. I give mine to friends (good friends) with the caveat that "they're refillable". It seems to keep 'em coming back empty! Imagine that.

If a distiller would use that bottle design they would prob charge an extra $15 or $20 for the bottle. Very nice and as Jed said THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND WHAT YOU DO TO MAKE US A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE!

As I stated earlier I have great respect for your sacrifice. As I raise a toast to you I have this idea.....

You could age your "whiskeys" on charred oak chips and call it "Schips Ahoy"

Sorry been enjoyin some UJSSM and that sounded funny to me.........

I found this link on youtube that shows how to make this kind of wrap. It's not hard at all, just takes a little patience. Thanks for all the posts and have a fine Navy day!
