So as I understand it you are doing an S-3 Quickie! Ha you guys are all the same! :D
Damn Corene, I'm pushin 4 months on mine. 6 for S3. Not big numbers for a lady but you work with what you got

No doubt the creativity of Jimbos approach is fun. Dildo sales could skyrocket from this site alone 8)

Jim
You may have stumbled across a whole new marketing scheme for selling legal booze.
A little something for him, a little something for her.
I could hear men across the country already explaining to the SOH, honest honey I bought this bourbon for you :wtf:

semi on topic, semi funny.

I played a golf tourney last summer. i was on the losing team. (no big surprise) the booby prize was...a pink dildo. I brought it home and stuck it in a friends trunk. Her 14 yr old son found it when she had him helping take the groceries in the house.
my work here is done! :D :D :D
After she gets done blushing and explaining it's not her's, (likely ranting about the asshole that placed it there) (heehee)she tells him to take it to the garbage.
The kid's pretty smart and see the humour in this... and hides it in his father's 1 wood head cover.
The next day, buddy grabs his clubs and heads to the course for an important meeting with some new business channel partners. They have a nice meet, share a beer and head up to the first tee.
He walks up to the teebox, pulls the cover off and the dildo falls out, bounces off his shoe and rolls between the feet of the female guest!!!
Holy shit was he mad!!!
and i wasn't there for it dammit! a two fer!
the guy prolly woulda killed me, but he got the deal, so all was good. Funny though, he doesn't come by for a drink very often anymore...
:D :D :D
I finally quit drinking for good.

now i drink for evil.

Well lads and lass, my second S3 is scorched, again! :tired: But in case you were worried about hearing real results of this test, youll be happy to know I have a 100% corn, white, on the vibe and a fresh batch of wheated bourbon also on the vibe. Of course control lots of both undildo'd as well for comparison.

Observations coming soon.

Wow, "on the vibe" and "undidlo'd"... Blazing the trail and coining new phrases at the same time! Very classy.

This is too funny. Have a few comments I could add but I actually have a serious question. Lol. Sorry. :P Is the vibration to keep constant movement in the jar or is there some cosmic molecular shit going on from the vibration? I was thinking of using a laboratory magnetic stirrer to oak my rum set on a nice slow constant mix rather than trying to remember to shake.
Just a thought.
Ok. Back to the perviness.

perviness?!? this is rocket science man! :egeek:

As many of you know already, there are 2 things that happen when aging whiskey - 1) Oak flavoring, all the caramel, butterscotch vanilla bla bla. But also, and just as important... 2) Some form of molecular harmonization (for lack of better words). The best description I read on this is that esters bond to short legs in the long chains of the ethanol molecules. The flavors marry, so to speak. The molecules become more complex. This is easily perceived with your tongue by tasting something out of the still, and coming back in 4 months to taste it again. The wet dog goes. Grain flavors develop. It's not just oxidation or oak, because Ive noticed this just as clearly in white rums sealed tight in quart jars.

My thesis here, being suggested and tested, is that shaking, vibrating, using a stir plate or music soundwaves slams the assorted molecules together faster. If you take 2 things that 'want' to be together anyway, and slam them together repeatedly, it stands to reason they will find their bonding points quicker. And bond. Im open to testing this theory with Allesandra Ambrosio if any of you know her and can convince her to play a game with me by bumping into me 10,000 times tonight.

Anyway, heat causes molecules to move faster too, and everyone knows the best barrels are at the top of the rick houses where its miserably hot. Is it just because the oaking happens more efficiently? I think there's more to it than that....

So this is my experiment. If it works and we employ it in our stillery when we open, consider yourselves privy to what may be our biggest secret weapon and dont fuckin tell no one :shh: Please. If it doesnt and Im full of shit. Well, it was a fun experiment and Im still gonna drink these quarts anyway so nothing lost.

Yeah you might not have put it in your pocket but you carried around that carboy for a half hour before finding the right place to set it down.

Some how I'm picturing a bunch of broken dildos kicked under the other side of jimbo's bed. I guess I'm just not gullible enough to fall for the "well ya see we got these dildo motors at work" story. Ya think we live in fucking China or something?
If this works my wife's not gonna be such a happy camper. I'm picturing 20 little dildo motors taped to an oak barrel.
