Hi there I've been a amateur distiller for around 13 yrs, but after visiting a few professional companies around the world I would love to learn how to do a more refined product.i started with the usual pre-fab set up with the turbo yeast and the flavour consentrate to now doing whole oats wash, with kaffer lime infused vodka and a nice bush lemon flavour.
I still run a 5 l pot still but am looking at better set ups and bigger scale.
I live on a sugar cane farm so sugar and molasses is not a problem to source.
Anyway I look forward to sharing info and learning more and more from a group of people that have a mutual fasination for distilling.

yo ho ho and a bottle of Rum...Welcome. :D wish I a had molasses source near me. I've got some chugging away right now!
I run a 6" 4 x sieve plate bubbler (flute), all hand made by myself, Custom Copper Fabricator mounted on my 100ltr boiler...my approach to Hobby distillation is safety 1st, quality a close 2nd and making good friends with similar hobby's as myself.

Good to know we have another New South Welshman here. Those Lime and lemon infusions sound nice and living on a sugar plantation might be great should we have another disaster like the Great Molasses shortage of 2014 :wave:
