I think the package was destined for somewhere in Canada next, not sure status but after almost a year it doesnt look good.

OK, Now I have to go back, read all about the travels of the bottle etc...
Too damn cool.

Ok, so I just finished reading the previous pages about the MiB.
Almost a year since the bottle and flasks etc...headed north.
Maybe it's about time to start up a 2nd Generation Bottle.
And who is in possession of the album?

Assuming a year gone by, the original beverages may be lost. Any interest in restarting a new set?

Anyone?

I would love to see this thread going again. I am way to new at this to be able to add anything more than a little cheerleading. I only have 5 quarts of some UJSSM and my cuts are FAR from perfected... I would just like to read the masters critiques again...

At some point I would really like to sample the Muckalee Creek H2O that flatwoods is famous for.

I agree I'm in the same boat. I've only one spirit run of ujsm under my belt so I can't offer much of a good drink, but... That would be an opportunity for some experienced member to have a taste of our inexperienced ujsm and off some helpful insight to make a better drink.

I think Husker had the package last. Looking at his profile his last visit date is blank? But I did a search to see if he'd died or something and has posted within the last month.

OK Husker, inquiring minds want to know, where's the booze? And are you going to send it on?

I was so proud when I had the bottle even though my spirits may not have been up to par.(I liked em)
I still (pun) get better all the time.
I hope someone has it and it will make more rounds.
If it comes down to it and that bottle has died....... R.I.P. bottle, and start a new one in it's memory!

Woot Yeah I guess that makes me 3rd. I need to get some buccaneer rum fermenting. Too bad the cheapest molasses around is $14/gallon for fancy and $86/5g Bucket Blackstrap.

Awesome! I'm excited to finally try a fellow members product, and also to pass along some of my own.

Since I'm a rum runner, when it's my turn to send, I'll be sending a sample of my finest white, as well as a sample of my spiced.

Hey, me too! Me too!

Sharing your spirits with other people and trying theirs is like a super-charger to your hobby.

Sorry I've been so vacant.... been super busy trying to deal with 2 houses and I'm finally catching up. Want me to start the flow? I have my bourbon and some maple spirit I can send around. Should we do multiple packages? Or make a list and go from one person to another? I'm game for anything. I've shipped over 40 bottles of different spirits all over the place and every single one has made it without any problems. List it as home-made marinade and always ship ground. Air shipments are screened for flammables. Marinade can have alcohol in it and (as far as I know) there isn't a published limit to the percentage. Anything under 50% should go hassle-free. Most likely anything over will as well... but it's more of a concern with flammability.

Back in November of 2013 (page 4 of this thread) I shipped Odin some of my last batch of UJSM. His review was excellent and it inspired me to keep shipping bottles.

Odin, if this thing doesn't get on it's way soon I'd like to ship you a bottle of my most recent AG bourbon. Just to see what you think. Since shipping to the Netherlands is a bit pricey, I'd be more than happy to include samples from other members in the states with mine. I charge the shipment to my business.

Anybody want to get in on the shipment to Odin?
