Is it bad ?
Got some wash ( corn meal , sugar , carmel malt grain , yeast , and water ) i warmed everything up to get it started and it done great , bubbled like crazy for several days ( maybe 4 ) then eased off . Just like i have for awhile . Its proved to me to be a quick wash that i like to taste after the run . Anyway i forgot about it cause i been working on other washes and mash . My question is -it still smells good but its been done bubbling thru the water lock for a good month or so . Yall think its still alright to run and drink ? If you need the hydrometer reading ill take anouther one . Last time i did it was 1.01 but that was a month ago lol . Let me know if you need a reading to let me know if its ok or what you think . Thanks guys. SH

if it still smells fine and has no off taste run it.I have left UJSSM sit for 6 months over the winter; its funny it will become as clear as water if you let it sit that long.
The fun is in the outcome

Re: Is it bad ?
Even if it smelled bad, and was infected, nothing bad carries over into the distillate. I have infected mashes on purpose.
It will be at least as good or better if infected. RUN IT!

Re-run it with your next run, or just dump a bunch of wood chips in it and forget it for a couple months. Then if you still don't like it. Re-run it in your next run.
Experience is something you gain shortly after you need it.
