New guy

Post by geo »

I've been a homebrewer for 30+year and made wine before that. I have always wanted to separate the alcohol from the water. The first time I frozen beer I was making a logger and was ageing it an froze it. That's how it all started

Welcome geo kirwin, sounds like you have some experience, that will help here. You also might read crankys "a little spoon feeding for new distillers". It's in novices near the top. This one post will help you with most questions you might have. Enjoy the forums!

When I froze that beer, it was aboutique 15 year ago. I do things a lot different now.
I like fire I alot of ways. I have gone from making 5gl of wine to having a friend ask me for help with first 5gl of beer (over 30 years ago ) to 55gl of beer every week (lots of friends who like good beer ) to playing with firewater now for a few years. just a little more history
