1st run

Post by babbo »

During my first 5 gal. run of Uncle Jesse's recipe, had an emergency and had to shut down at about 1/2 way thru. Is it ruined or can i crank up and finish run?

Yep, I've had to do this a couple times. No problem. The first couple jars you take off might not be the same hearts you were pulling when you shut down though.
When you start up part 2 just collect the first bit in small jars and take that into account when you do your cuts.
Shouting and shooting, I can't let them catch me...

Shoot man....I count myself blessed if I CAN get through a run without an interruption . Light er back and go with it. MichiganCornhusker's dead on with it tho....the first bit aint gonna be the same as where ya left off.
Patience....the early bird get's the worm, but the second rat get's the cheese.

If this is the first run and you are using a pot still you are golden because you still have the spirit run when you get enough strip runs collected..
