1 inch copper column, 2 feet
1 inch copper male adapter
1 inch copper female adapter
2 zinc? (galvanized steel) 1 inch lock nuts (plan on switching to stainless steel washers)
1 inch copper tube cap
3/8" by 20' copper coil, refrigeration
step drill 1/4" to 1 3/8" in 1/8" increments
Male copper adapter in the lid with the 2 zinc? (galvanized steel) locking nuts to take up space and support the column better. I could not find stainless steel washers so I will have to order some. I am not completely satisfied with this union. I hope it works better after I get the SS washers. The female copper adapter on the underside of the lid. I plan on soldering this to the lid. Copper cap with a 3/8" hole for the worm. Was planning on using flour paste to seal it. The still standing Connecting the column was my biggest challenge mainly because I couldn't figure out how to get everything flush and tight. Once I get the stainless steel washers I am considering soldering the female/male/SS washers together. I did try making a PTFE and cardboard gasket but I just don't think its tight enough. I will use flour paste if any problems.
A couple of cleaning runs to see how it leaks.
Thanks for looking.
