It was a birthday present. Tried it out and it works great. Cleaned it up a lil with a scotch brite.

It's too pretty to set on top a fire and distill in.

It will look better with black soot on the bottom, stains from mash running down the side.
And crusty flour and water from sealing it on the top.
Clean and pretty belongs on the inside, that requires constant use.

Yep, the stream coming outta that pipe looks like a scene from Moonshiners. Congratulation on acquiring a free still that I would give my left nut for.

Very pretty. Congratulations. But come on you know better than to use ice. Now you got a free still you should be able to get a bulkhead fitting for that bucket. That way you don't mess up the temp gradient. And again verry pretty piece of gear.

Nothing wrong with your set up but with that still I would consider building a flake stand out of more traditional material just for the aesthetics!
