New Home

Post by gmm213 »

So my wife and I are in the process of buying our first house. The inspection went really good, we are waiting on the second inspection (the type of loan requires a safety inspection and appraisal) and hopefully closing Aug 26. Best part, it already has 220v in the workshop outback,

Congratulations, I wired 2 spots for 220 in my outbuilding one for the still and one for my table saw. Love being electric!

You know your a stiller if one of your must haves in a new home is 220 in the workshop.

Congratulations on the new digs.

You know you're a stiller when the wife cooks sweet corn, and after supper, you find yourself gazing at the yellowish water wondering how much nice corn flavor is in there, and pondering dumping it into your next batch.

Theres three rooms. The back room where Ill store everything is about 10ft by 10ft and has no windows or direct outside entry. It also has some old kitchen cabinets on the back wall. Theres only 1 220v plug right now in the front room so until Im not to lazy to add a second plug in the back Ill just move everything to the front room to actually run.

Thanks for all the congratulations guys. This has been a pain. This is actually the third house weve put offer in on. The other two fell through.

Be prepared to have your stillin life put on hold till you make this house your home. There will be a long list of things to fix and change. But those cabinets will be your friends. Congratulations. Moving always sucks but new digs are always awesome to get just how you want it.

Yeah the little lady already has a nice long list of crap to get done. No big projects though and some that I have to get someone else to do
