How's it going from Ontario

Post by baylisstic1098r »

Good evening everyone

Some info

Have some experience making wine with my dad, that's about it.

Would like to pick up where both my late grandfathers back in Italy left off distilling grappa. I never had a chance to ask them for their wisdom or procedure. I do know they both made some pretty good grappa and would like to make them proud picking up where they left off.

This site seems to be the most comprehensive with a lot of good topics.

Hopefully I can get the info I'm looking for and looking forward to running my first batch

Thanka in advance everyone and can't wait

Hello and welcome to HD, this is a great place to learn hobby distilling. Please take the time to read, research and understand the process of distilling. It's best to know what you are doing before you start building and brewing. Have fun and be safe

Welcome baylisstic! Good luck on your quest. Like I just read on Facebook, "When we lose and elder relative, a library of information dies with them."
Lord, give me patience, but give it to me NOW!

Welcome, I am in the big smoke, so who knows, maybe we're close.

Have fun here, listen to your elders, they know of what they speak.
