Hello Guys!
First build on a Reflux and Bubble Plate Column. I've been running a variety of pot stills for years, but would like to begin building a reflux unit. I've sourced the 3" copper (2 meters) and ordered stainless ferrules and tri-clamps.
Planned Rig:
3" D x 1 m Tall Copper Tubing
3" to 2" Reducer with ferrule and tri-clamp (keg connection)
3" to 2" Reducer with ferrule and tri-clamp (top reducer)
3" D Gin Basket (Height ???? - Any ideas?)
3" Dephlagmator (in Development)
2" sanitary 90d elbows with ferrules connected to reducer
As far as the condenser is concerned, I'm working on reducing down from the larger diameter pipe down to the condenser. It's not a matter of design issue so much as parts availability here in Greece. As I resource the extra parts and find what's available, I'll ping you guys for suggestions to compare and see if anyone has tried a similar method/build.
Thanks for any input and suggestions.
Cheers,
AlfA01
