So last week the wife and me had a new addition born into the family. Bouncing baby boy!! Day before she went.to the hospital my buds were over for a pre celebration booze fest. She told me to clean out the freezer and get rid of all the.older jams and jellies...(see where this is heading?) Not wanting to throw out possible likker fixings, we started adding all the stuff together.
I do remember there was freezer strawberry jelly,blueberry,blackberry,peach,raspberry and apple marmalade.
Frozen consisted of strawberries,blackberries,blueberries. Stuff was boiled and somehow we even strained out most of the seeds thru a mesh strainer and.cheesecloth. Anyways...Following the success of Fruitloops and Oreo,I didnt have any hope this would be.good.
It finished dry and tart 2 days ago. Ran it through my 12 gallon pot with the column packed with scrubs.
Got through the heads quick and this stuff was probably the highest octane I have ever produced. Its a shame it was a drunken concoction,because its a fruity drop with a ton of tweeking potential.
