Chocolate based liquor - based upon hot fudge sauce

Post by Want2brew »

I have about 2+ gals of very expensive hot fudge sauce. recipe is bakers chocolate (unsweetened) or chocolate liquer (same thing as bakers I believe), little water, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and then butter is added at the end once things are no longer boiling,.

I'm wondering what I could make out of this fudge sauce. I am a little worried about the butter that is in it (about 1-1.5 cups butter per gallon). I don't know if it can be separated at all maybe by boiling but I know when the sauce gets too hard from repeated re-heatings (low boilings), we add water to thin it out and I've never seen the butter separate.

I'm up for any kind of liquor anyone knows of a good recipe or good ideas where I can find a recipe. Thanks!!!!
