Interesting site. I've gotten a lot of information already. I've been brewing for years, mostly wine, and thought it was time to try my hand at spirits. I'm a chemist, so very familiar with the principles of distilling, but would like to know how other folks manage the do it yourself approach. I'm located in North Central Florida, and pretty much consider myself a good ol' boy. Anyway, glad to join, looking forward to learning and sharing

Glad to have you aboard. Always good to have chemists here as we get into quite controversial discussions about the chemistry of various aspects of this hobby.
Some know a little about what they are talking about, some think they know what they are talking about and the rest simply ask.....what the hell are we talking about.
