I'm new.
Good morning.
I'm new on this forum. I'm from Europe from country where vodka is more popular that bread - try to guess from which country I am.
I made already a lot of liters of moonshine, from fruits, potatoes, malt barley.
I hope I will learn myself something new from You guys.

Perhaps he is from Poland. And the Polish and the Russians are not so good friends currently.
Edit: Or Ukraine? Perhaps even more dangerous for you Grasshopper.

The answer is: Poland (warmia and mazury) ))
Re: I'm new.
I'm currently using sugar to make a moonshine. My product is very pure and 93% strong. From 25L of mash I have 5.5 L of 93% strong spirit.

Ah, I should have known. My wife is of Polish descent....her grandmother was Polish. Her maiden name was Littawa.
The Polish dishes are awesome. You can keep the vodka. I like my whiskey.

Someone is using turboyeast here???Radek wrote:From 25L of mash I have 5.5 L of 93% strong spirit.
Welcome Radek
Edit: 5.5l 93% = 5.1l pure ethanol.
Supposing you made no cuts and squeeze all the ethanol out of the wash, your 25l wash had 20.5vol%.

Re: I'm new.
I keep hearing about a polish vodka with buffalo grass in it. Are you familiar with it? Is it considered a good vodka in Poland or is it just a marketing trick for Americans?

Hi mate.
Bison vodka - It is regional vodka from eastern Poland but You can buy bison grass separately (internet shop) and add to vodka. I made picture for You.
You can add also wide range of herbs which they have in that region ( warmia and mazury, podlasie ).
