I decided to run a cleaning run of vinegar and water through the keg still and 2" Boka/VM copper column last week and now the distillate has a bit of dirty brown look to it. I admit I haven't cleaned it like that since the first run a few years back. Did a quick search but couldn't find a reason and now wonder if this is going to be considered a sacrificial run again?
Hate to lose this batch of bourbon so maybe I'l stop it and do a sugar wash if it is not going to be drinkable. Suggestions?
