I'm not not as lucky as you to have a mother to be loved by, or to care for, So I have a whole lot of good wishes to spare for y'all. Thoughts and prayers to you, you're family, and of course your mother.
People say that I'm a bad influence. I say the world's already f#cked -- I'm just adding to it.
Re: Bad news
Sorry to hear the news pythonshine. My Mum had a similar diagnosis back in 2012 but modern medicine means she's still going strong. I'm not the religious type, but I hope the surgery is successful and wish your Mum a speedy recovery.

Re: Bad news
Not out of the woods yet, She is out of surgery and waiting for the anastasia to ware off. The operation went well. Now we have to wait, it is possible her other kidney could shut down and infection is a real risk. Instead of the of the regular "text book" incision they had to go from her hip, up level with her navel and then over to her navel. All of your thoughts and prayers are working friends. My gratitude is without measure.

Re: Bad news
Just got back from the hospital. She is not exactly comfortable but doing ok....She hates the beds lol. We didnt stay too long. She was in some pain while we were there. But she has The Button... sodium morphine. We had her try it...I dont think she knew she had it. After that she was in and out so we let her sleep. Going to see her tomorrow. They said she should be home sometime next week.

Re: Bad news
Once her attitude returns, you know she's gettn better.
My mom started ordering me around and correcting my grammar after about the 3rd day in ICU.
Thats when I said to myself, "she's back" ..Had to keep telln her to quit talkn about distillin.
For some reason, while under all the meds, she just talked about everything under the sun.
No telln what she said when I wasn't there with her.
Still glad to have her tho ..Gonna be a big void when she's gone.
Glad to hear your mom is on the mend.

I've been reading this a week on my phone and couldn't reply. I just wanted to say I sent prayers and now the good news you just posted goes to show prayers work.
Keep her up and going. I'm a natural healing guy and I strongly suggest you research turmeric curcumin and take it every day. Tons of research on it to read.
