Re-using scrubbies

I did a search and glanced over various threads, but could find no information about the reuse of scrubbies. How are you guys doing it?

I have found that my column 33" tall can hold about 19 scrubbies... that being said I take them all out, rinse completely, and cook in the oven for about 3 hrs on 375° after each use. I also boil in water after every 5th use.
I don't try to keep them all separate and neat either... I let them mesh together. Seems that the more they tangle the bigger they get, and the better they pack in.

Any thoughts/input on this subject?

Edit: I also do all stripping runs, and one spirit run about every 2-3 weeks. Spirit runs are the only times I pack my column.
