While I don't play guitar I do play a drum called a djembe. That will be coming with me i believe.

Crow - ship it to trucks ahead of time if you want to bring any of your make.

I do not know. It gets hard to breath above 500ft above sea level. I tend to trip over rocks and both my legs were built the same length so climbing hills is like exercise on old bones. Plus I don't know any law officers up that far to cover for me. If I got up in a crowd like that, I would likely get outa hand. TB probably will not let me have a room in the house with him like he has had a full year invite down here. Plus, I would be subject to take on a drunk. TB probably has fightin liquor or crying liquor, either of which would be bad for everyone! I haven't tangled with no mountain men since Jethro stopped by me on Saint Simons Island asking where he could find some of the rattle snakes folks told him were so prevalent there. Sumbitch could have changed a set of John Deere dual tire rear wheel by picking it up and sliding it on the lugs by himself. When I finally found out he wanted them for church and callled him a stupid sumbitch that ought to get bit by a moccasin once. Seems if they get bit they being punished or something, anyway he took it as an insult. Thank God we were by the salt marsh and he didn't like his head buried up in that gray mud like a fiddler crab! Damn near had to drown him before he went limp and I could get off him. That marsh mud was slicker than any mountain mud that boy had caked in his bare feet and stained rim overhauls pants leg cuff! So, unless my wife goes with me and I have very limited access to booze, I might best not. It would not be fun for the rest of yall for the law to show up and break up the fun. Plus , TB's shit house done blowed up and I can't use portolets. Seems almost every one I ever been in had been visited by Jesus-just never understood why he always signed by a picture of a marijuana leaf and other crap written in Spanish! Those things must be sacred!
I guess we'll see later. TB may still be mad at me anyway and I leary of him if so. Maybe I will just sent Jorge!

Tis true, I couldn't make up my mind what to bring so I brought the whole cupboard.
I'm going to be a bit (a lot) more selective, and discrete, about what I bring this time, I won't be traveling around with a big ass box of booze.
But I'll be sure to pack up some of that walnut, it was a hit at Jed's, and is aging nicely.

SOH encouraged me to build a new Liar's Bench for this event . All attendees will be required to do some whittling on it during the course of the weekend . All good to go with that ? A picture of that could be posted here .

Has WindyCity and his crowd checked-in on this topic yet? His crew included most excellent youngsters and SOHs at the Paagso Springs event last June. Shorter drive to WVA, too.

I'd love to see them again.

Flatwoods comments reminds me of my brother "I'm allergic to alcohol, when I drink and I break out in handcuffs!"

He's been goin' to AA meetings for 15 years now.

Some summer traveling done, FLA for 4th of July but saving a day or two vacation for Truckorama in August.

Afraid I'm out. We are buying a place and moving back to the country, I'm changing jobs, this summer is pretty well full. I'll try to be in for the next one, and maybe after we get settled we could host one as well. I hope you good folks have a great time!
