I posted a picture of the still I acquired on the welcome page. A member stated there was trouble lurking due to the size of the thumper. I'm wondering if I need to scrap this thing or just run without it.
I searched the forum for related topics with no luck, so thanks in advance for any advice or help you can provide. I greatly appreciate it.

Re: Thumper Safety
Recommended thumper size is at least 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the boiler.
If yours is smaller than that I'd run without it until you can make a larger one.
They're great to use, but no fun if they fill up during a run.

Shouting and shooting, I can't let them catch me...

Thank you sir. I really appreciate the help.
