Hello all, I have a CM still that I added mods to from this site. From which I have been consistently getting 87-92 % runs with a modified UJJSM ( I keep the sweet don't add backset back just more sugar water) I recently ran a batch (8th generation) that came out smelling/ tasting like acetone. I started the 9th gen. But was wondering what happened. Only thing changed was I over shot my ph to (up to 7 from 3.4) when my fermentation stalled. Also my water temp is very cold now (winter) and my flow was very slow through column. Could any of these be it or something else.
