Welcome blm, lots of knowledge for sure on this site. Take your time and read before making any decisions on still choices. Start your reading at "a little spoon feeding for new distillers" by cranky in novices. This will answer most questions you might have. Enjoy the forums!

Welcome to HD, good advice by BigBob. I would also add that when your ready to build if that is your intent make sure you check out either Pot Still & Thumper Design and or the Column Build section. I would also suggest you check out my Helpful Hints for Organizing informationon the forum found in my signature page at the bottom of this post.

From one newbie to another, definitely read the spoonfeeding post, and as much else you can from this site. Forget all the youtube videos and such, too much contradicting info. These guys here have been there, done that, and have pisted proven methods, proven equipment, and proven recipes!
