Parent Site Issue?

Post by Opdog »

I went to look up something on the parent site tonight and when I clicked the link at the top of the page main forum page it took me to a page that just says "It Works!". It does that even when I type in the URL by hand or try to come at it from a different page.

Just thought that I should let someone know that there is an issue.

Glad you care enough to bring the issue up . Beyond what I can do to fix things . Seeing a problem and reporting it gets the pros on it most riky tik .

This seems to happen a couple of times a year, it gets sorted out.

Server upgrades reset the default index page to index.html instead of index.php... Uncle Jesse or Husker will make the nedded adjustment... If you want to access it beforehand, manually enter http://homedistiller.org/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow in your address bar...

I get that notice when I'm on my wife's iPad... can't get into the site. No problem with mine though.

Argh! I'll try to remember to fix this tonight.

Whenever I upgrade apache (the web server software) it puts in the default page and I have to remember - which I never do - to manually delete it.

I've been working on the server side quite a bit lately, getting ready for some big software updates.

Husker still working for us? He should be on the missing members link as well. Oh well, at least he is here to help even if quiet.

Haven't heard much from Husker lately. Hopefully he is out enjoying life. He did a ton, and I mean a ton to help us out on the forum software side. When you log in and there isn't any spam or new spambot members, give a silent thanks or tip your glass to Husker for his work on our installation of PHPBB.

Hold "shift" and hit the reload button on the front page. It's fixed but your cache is fooling your browser.

Get a real computer... Or Google the Android support sites... My guess would be to goto your browser Apps settings page and empty cache...
