Hi Everyone

Post by muckyfingers »

Hi Everyone,

My name's Rob and I've been a long time (Unregstered) follower, and so decidied to take the plunge and register to say hello.

I've been into distilling for about 3 months now, moving on from beer/wine making.

I dont have the best still (t5oo copper reflux), but why learn to drive in a Rolls Royce!!

I'm keen to create my own gin and so far try to use anything and everything that comes from my garden for botanicals.

The kitchen often looks like an apothecary from Videogames (Skyrim), or a scen from breaking bad!!

Everyday Im learning new things from here but expect to hear from me now and then!

Cheers

Welcome, nice to have you come out of the dark. Growing your own produce to distill sounds great. I tried starting Grand Wormwood and Anise this year with no luck.

Hi Bushman,

I failed with Anise too!

My current mentality is: "If I can't eat it, I don't wanna grow it"! - The mrs currently hates me for it
