I'm new and need help
Ok me and my wife both are Native American Indians Cherokee and Lakota we live in the great state of Tn. We are new here any advice at all is greatly appreciated! Done messed up 2 runs sadly. We have a pressure cooker and using on stove top. We would like to make shine. So with that being said (Wado) thank y'all for having us! Wado is thank you in Cherokee!

Welcome,
In my signature is cranky's spoon feeding. A pressure cooker is an undesirable setup due to the seal not being suitable for high temp alcohol vapour.

Hey! Welcome!
As 'bitter' said, a pressure cooker just has too many questionable materials in its construction.
Aluminum, for instance, is a no-go as are the synthetic seals. You don't want deterioration or to get sick or poisoned.
Please heed the advice and consider building or buying a proper still.

Truckinbutch! How many times you gotta be told to not give firewater to the natives! Makes 'em crazy you know that. Messing with damned pressure cookers and such the DHS, FBI, and NSA will be investigating and find links back to all of us! If making for his self Chief2feathers would WANT to read the basics and learn to do better without advice from a pale face like you.
Best be careful Chief! Stay calm and read it all before you jump in deep. Truckinbutch was an Indian Fighter, amongst others being non discriminatory, in his earlier days. These days though he just fights for a stool at the pub.

Simple keg pot still and a few sugarhead washes . You can make a good drop and decide whether you go further . There is no upward limit for how far you can go .

Re: I'm new and need help
a legally acquired used stainless steel beer keg for a boiler. a few feet or 2" copper pipe. a 2" copper t, a 2" 45* copper, a 2" to 1/2" copper reducer, a couple feet of 1/2"copper pipe. add 10' of corrugated stainless steel flexible tube, fittings to connect it to a garden hose. a set of hoses for a clothes washer .
then find "dad300" (username) CCVM build and follow instructions.
Shouldn't be more than 150 bucks.
use a fire or propane burner to heat it while you read the electric thread and learn how to build a controller for an internal 5000W ULWD element. total cost here about 110, and will be a nice first upgrade while you keep reading here.

Welcome Chief... you found the place to help you turn garbage into gold(from an alcohol standpoint at least. The rest....meh....)
Get rid of that pressure cooker... and stay away from the internet. Most of those folks are trying to kill you.
Start simple and understand the basics of distillation first! This is the key. Don't be surprized if your first few batches are awful... they're experiments (and cheap ones).
That being said... going modular allows a cheaper modification to different still types later (LM, CM, CCV, etc...). It's all here to read.
Good advice to read cranky's thread. My signature has a link to the glossary(to help with the language) and the HD Google search - your new best friend here!
