Soap bubbles like forming inside my pot still

Hey guys,

Need a little help over here.

I have a 200 liters column still, see photos below



Yesterday I was running a still run and my mixer motor wasn’t working. Yet, not sure if it’s the cause, but probably at the middle of the run bubbles just like soap bubbles started to form inside my pot.

Anyone had ever been through something similar? Anyone have any idea what may be the reason?

I can't see inside my pot, but when you boil beer it will foam up. If the boiler is too full it can/will puke. I would imagine that it's normal, the agitation probably kept it to a minimum, just my guess.

Nice looking kit - but I'm sure you have a typo there - (30 gallons is maximum we can use and stay members) - That looks far closer to 100 litres to me - Typo isn't it ?

Sure sounds like a hot break to me. Pretty normal, although agitation will reduce the foaming. I assume that you have a DSP, if so you should put in you signature, else the peanut gallery will give you shit.

And to stop the foaming, add some butter or olive oil.
