E85 from sugar shine

Post by LondonDry81 »

Hey All,
Has anyone ever ran a Flex fuel pickup on E85 made with clean(ish) sugar shine (90-95%)??
Looks like I'm going to have more sugar wash than I need and it might make an interesting experiment, as long as I don't kill my truck!

Well that's a start - thanks 8)

In UK we are allowed to make "biofuel" - but I feel their "£1 a gallon" is rather cheap for Ethanol !

I'm interested in seeing whether I can get a lawnmower or summat running on it.

I guess it would give me a use for some of that Turbo - yeast I've accumulated over the years ! :D
